I decided to take the weekly photo challenge. If this photo inspires you to write something feel free to share it with me. I will not post your response to my photo without asking your permission first.
Gilbert is one of my four cats. His litter mate is Sullivan. They are both fantastic hunters. They keep our property pretty much gopher and rabbit free. On my way out to sit in the garden I caught Gilbert taking a break from his “game keeper” duties. I sat on the glider seat beside him and together we enjoyed the peaceful setting and the company of Buddha.
I love Gilbert and Sullivan! On my wedding day, one or both of them left me a headless gopher and a tiny bat as matrimonial gifts. Plus, they are always great for company and affection when stargazing. Great photo!

Darling Belinda,
Gilbert has once again provided you with a distinguished and unique photo opportnity!
Michael and I have determined that Gilbert may have enlisted the assistance of the Great Buddah for his new year’s resolutions.
He is a most handsome and spiritual feline !

Hi my gorgeous friends. Happy Chinese New Year to you too. When I was younger some of my friends nick-named me The Dragon! I was born in the year of the dog though. Perhaps the dragon will be a good year for me. Heaps of love,
Belinda

You are probably right. I took a series of these photos. Gilbert’s brother, Sullivan joined the conversation later too.

Thank you! I took quite a few of him – as you can imagine. His brother then came along looking for attention. I have a few nice ones of them together with the Buddha.

He’s a very deep kitty most of the time. He’s a monster kitty when he’s ripping gophers apart.
